Essential Spanish is our flagship online course and contains all essential Spanish concepts. In the Essential Spanish course you will learn to speak sufficient Spanish to function in common daily situations with native speakers. We recommend this course as a review for those who have had Spanish in high school, as well as high school and university students looking for an intensive and immersive Spanish course. We offer courses in 6, 12, and 18 week lengths depending on your experience level and availability. Students may exchange group sessions for flexible personal one-on-one sessions to match their schedule and specific needs. Every hour with our instructors is the equivalent of approximately three hours of traditional class time. Receive a refund in the first 15 days if you are not 100% satisfied.

One-on-One
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
A2:
Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
