Hollywood and the evening news paint it with a broad brush, but there is an untold story. Our political expert and historian shares this story from a Colombia perspective. If you have a H.323 system, or a computer connected to the Internet with a large screen and USB speakerphone, you can participate in virtual field trips. Students from home and other remote classrooms can also login and participate.

Schools may use virtual field trips as a comprehension and listening exercise, as well as for culture, history, and geography. Sessions can be held in the absence of the language teacher or as an event when school is closed.
