Take a peek into Latin America’s night life

Invite a Latin American couple into your classroom to show you the most popular dance moves from the Salsa clubs of Cali, to the dance halls of Buenos Aires, and the streets of Venezuela. Music and dance are part of daily life in most countries in Latin American and Spain. These same rhythms have also made their way into American culture on popular TV shows, Factor X, and aerobic routines such as Zoomba. We show you basic moves and demonstrations of each dance in this three-part series. Participants are invited to get up a practice these basic moves with us in the classroom. Included are activities for each type of dance!

* All materials and conference fees included in course price. Sessions can be (re)scheduled up to 48 hours in advance, Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Eastern time zone. Sessions cancelled due to weather emergencies can be rescheduled. Sessions are designed for standard classroom periods of 40-60 minutes. Full refund if all requirements have been met and not satisfied.

From the dance club to your classroom!

If you have a H.323 system, or a computer connected to the Internet with a large screen and USB speakerphone, you can participate in virtual field trips. Students from home and other remote classrooms can also login and participate.

Schools may use virtual field trips as a comprehension and listening exercise, as well as for culture, history, and geography. Sessions can be held in the absence of the language teacher or as an event when school is closed.
